For a short read, ONE NIGHT IN DAYTONA BEACH surely packs a punch. In it, Draven Wick has to move full throttle ahead on three things: rekindling the fire with Jamie, whom he had not seen in the last ten years, escaping a gang of bike riders who blame him for the death of their leader, and staying ahead of the police in a daring chase.
This is a tantalizing read where the desire for the hot babe is intermixed with the joy of riding: “With a decisive lunge, he raised his body, grasped the handlebars and kissed her.” Through all the twists and turns, you can rest assured that our hero will manage, somehow, to escape danger and get the girl.
Five stars.
