“Another fun read from Karen Vaughan” By Mark Rubinstein
This review is from Dead Men Don’t Swing (A Laura and Gerry Mystery Book 4) (Kindle Edition)
I’ve read every book Karen Vaughan has written and enjoyed their wry humor and irreverent tone. “Dead Men Don’t Swing” is another one I loved. Gerry and Laura are at it again. She’s a “corpse magnet, ” and they live in the “Domicile of death.” Question: Do you go dumpster-diving when a body hurtles past your window and lands in the dumpster down below? Well, a guy was done in with a “killer shoe” which has a retractable corkscrew blade. He’s landed in the dumpster outside the building, having obviously fallen from a balcony above. From there, things get more complicated and humorous. I thoroughly enjoyed this little novel and look forward to Ms. Vaughan’s next one.
