5 Stages_ The Writer's Sanity Check Break
  1. Writer Euphoria. The Writer’s Sanity Check always follows a period of literary euphoria. For whatever reason; new story idea, getting some much needed second wind on a story or just plain old ‘my writing rocks!’ writer elation, you will have been furiously hammering out words at your writing desk.
  2. Early Warning Signs. The voices of your characters will be loud and clear inside your head. As you write it will be like they are all stood by your side and chatting away. Over dinner a loved one will ask what has led to such frenzied activity in Writing Corner, as up until very recently (last week) you didn’t go near your writing desk and shouted at anyone who even mentioned your writing. You smile and make some comments about how your writing is doing things for you, how your emotions are running wild and how the voices in your head sound…
