Lately, editing has been making me a bit more frantic than usual. I’m working on revising one of my books. Did you ever think this passage or that one just couldn’t be left out? Then you might decide to take it out, but the next day, you revise it and plunk it back in there somewhere. How do you know you’re doing the right thing?
